The mission of the New Boston Special Industrial Development Commission and Community Development Commission is to preserve our hometown atmosphere with a spirit of cooperation between businesses, local government, schools, churches, regional development partnerships and residents, through existing business retention and expansion, proactive business recruitment, downtown improvements, historical preservation, tourism and community development activities, providing a full life-cycle residential base, our local community will culturally and economically be a leader of our region.

The New Boston Chamber of Commerce is bringing The Moving Wall, a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. to New Boston from September 4 thru 8th. Details are here The Moving Wall

A Great Day for New Boston!

Scrapp Miller Park Ribbon Cutting was held Nov 3, 2023 with a great crowd of well wishers for this beautiful park off Daniels Chapel Rd in New Boston, TX. The New Boston SIDC organization and the past & present City Council members have been planning improvements for this park for some time.

Finally, the go-ahead was given to Luke Stephens, New Boston's Park Director, to "Make it Happen", and he sure did!!!

New Boston SIDC President David Daniels put the final budget package together for Luke to work with to create this beautiful park in the New Boston Community. This park is located on the northern side of New Boston with easy access to it from either N Merrill or Daniels Chapel. Showcase of PICTURES

The SIDC Board typically meets most months on the 2nd Monday of the month at 5:30 - here at the SIDC/3 Museum Building. The CDC Board typically only meets when necessary. A "Notice of a Meeting" will be posted on here to help know when a meeting is scheduled.
